- BBC Bitesize Daily: BBC Bitesize Daily
BBC Bitesize Daily is the government's answer to homeschooling, featuring daily lessons presented by celebs and 200 of the UK's top teachers. You'll find daily lessons for homeschooling in Maths and English for every year group, as well as regular lessons in Science, History, Geography and more. Bitesize Daily consists of homeschool lessons for all ages laid out in a daily format for pupils to follow from home. The homeschooling lessons have been created with teachers and other educational experts and feature a mix of videos, animations, practice activities, quizzes and games. The website has guides for parents on how to teach their child, advice for effective homeschooling, and guides for pupils with special education needs.
- Virtual PE Lessons: New on 12th Jan'21
PH Sports, our lunch time and after school PE company, are working hard to produce some Virtual PE Lessons which can be completed at home or in school with minimal equipment or space. This term they have decided to focus on Gymnastics and Health & Fitness, each week we will release two lessons for both EYFS/KS1 and KS2. For each of the lessons, they have created a video that the children can watch and join in with, accompanied by a lesson plan, which details the lesson and will be easy to follow for children, parents and teachers. The lessons can be completed with the lesson plan alone if any children are unable to access the video. Stacks of free learning resources for you to share with your children. They're perfect for Key Stage 2 pupils of all abilities and are great accompaniments to lessons you're currently laying on, or as do-it-yourself homeschool replacements.
